Alternative Solutions Inc. (ASI), located in Sheboygan Falls, WI, has been about providing software development and consulting services to the property and casualty insurance industry since 1995. IT developer augmentation is our specialty, whether it’s to supplement a project that is short staffed, or to tackle day-to-day tasks so you can free up members of your team. ASI has the experience to assist with projects both large and small, from P&C insurance systems consulting and programming to software development, and web design and development to graphic design.
We pride ourselves on our experience and around the clock support to ensure your IT systems and applications are working for you. Why? A small company can and does make a BIG difference.
Provide IT services to the property and casualty insurance carrier in the form of uniquely tailored information systems alternatives and solutions.
Amazon, Apple, Disney, Google and Harley Davidson all started from humble beginnings as did ASI. ASI was formed in 1995 to meet the ever-changing information system needs of property and casualty insurance carriers. Founder, Scott Kissinger, started and ran the IT business from an office over his garage for nearly three years. Scott, wanting to grow his business, rented office space over a delicatessen in Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin and hired his first employees.
Property and casualty insurance companies leaned heavily on ASI to try to keep pace with the modernizing technical world of the 90’s and prepare for the new millennium. ASI’s contracted programming services quickly expanded to included project management, statistical reporting support, database, networking and business analytics to help maintain and expand carrier’s core processing systems.
Today, Alternative Solutions Inc. (ASI) still answers the call from carriers to lend a helping hand in short or long-term IT projects. ASI’s seasoned veterans have on average 20 years of insurance transaction programming experience and have kept pace with the latest technology. Needless to say, we eventually outgrew the rented office space above the deli, and in 2008 moved into our corporate office building located at W3131 County Road C, Sheboygan Falls, WI.
